Suwan Lanna Travels is run by Suwan Style Agency Co., Ltd, 57 Moo 4, Tambon Nong Hoi, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50000, Thailand. This policy explains what personal data we collect on suwantravels.com and in the Suwan Travels app, why, and your rights under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). What we collect
- Booking details: your name, email, WhatsApp number, hotel or pickup point, the tours or services you book, dates and number of guests.
- Payment: payments are processed by Pay Solutions. We never see or store your card number.
- Chat: messages you send to our assistant Nong Suwan are processed by Google's Gemini AI service to write the answer, and saved in our system so we can improve our help. Please do not share passports, card numbers or passwords in the chat.
- My Trips: there is no account or password. The booking numbers you made on a phone are stored in a cookie on that phone so you can see them in My Trips.
- Website statistics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages, device type, country). This does not tell us who you are.
Why we use it
- To confirm and run your booking, arrange pickup, and send you your booking details and invoice by email and WhatsApp.
- To answer your questions and give support.
- To keep our accounting and tax records, as Thai law requires.
We do not sell your data. We share only what is needed with the tour operator, hotel, driver or rental partner who provides your service.
How long we keep it
Booking and invoice records are kept as long as Thai accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete other data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by contacting us. To remove trips from a phone, use “Remove from this phone” in My Trips or clear the app's data.
